Missbehave Magazine

So, I was at College and 54th on Friday, getting some Yats with Kevin and his friend Pam (?).  They went to a movie afterwards and I took a stroll around Broad Ripple.  My last stop was Northside News.  I always go in there to get Missbehave Magazine and to look at all the other crazy niche-market magazines.

I can’t seem to find Missbehave in the area I remember it being in so I start walking up to the counter to ask the person working where it is.  I look at the individual behind the counter and pause for a second.  Like one of those montage-life-flashback moments from a movie, I connect the individual I’m staring at, to the numerous pictures of the Mudkids I’ve been introduced to as of late.  Yep, it’s Russ.

It’s nice to meet someone that you’ve only seen and heard of.  Oh, and he gave me the link to his blog.  Check it out, it’s good:  Prehensile Tales

Aphex Twin @ Coachella

I’m not a huge Aphex Twin fan. I can appreciate what he’s done to revolutionize electronic music or whatever, but sometimes the stuff he produces gets to be a little twisted and indiscernible. I know people will say that about DnB, but I’m just sayin…

This DJ set is weak up until about halfway, at about 25 mins, and then gets to the stuff I don’t like at about 52 mins. But….for the 25 mins or so that’s in between, it’s madness. Love it.

I shot 3 vids for flashing lights cuz I ain’t like the first 2. I loved the 3rd one that I released with Spike and hit the world with that. I actually had Sam Speigal , Spike’s brother and co-orchestrater of THE TOUR MUSIC, do a remix 2 the scary one 2 make the music fit. I planned 2 put it on a DVD later this year. No rant’s here just an explanation of why yall getting those other vids rt now that I ain’t approve and why I ain’t finna post neither on my blog. So I hope whoever leaked them got the shine they was looking 4 cause that’s all they’ll get now. And I know that’s incorrect english but that’s how I talk when I want 2. Oh and I’ve just been 2 busy 2 get at the New York Times for all that his Ego BLAH BLAH BLAH bullshit so stay tuned. For fun, I want yall 2 read this whole post in the Grandma’s Boy JP robot voice LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

And just so everyone knows, in my not-so-humble opinion, using numbers as words should be left to 14-year-old girls in AIM chat and the occasional text.

Again, funny funny Frenchies. MC’s Cuizinier, Teki Latex, Tido Berman and DJ Orgasmic comprise the members of the group TTC. Physically unattractive and lyrically crude, they’ve created a style of electro/pop influenced French hip hop that’s sure to make you laugh (if you understand French…or can gather meaning from an online translator, read: BabelFish).

If you’re familiar with Kid Sister and have scoured the internets looking for anything of hers you can find (like me), then you’ll recognize the next song.

My imperfect French skills have revealed to me that this song is about having to talk to girls on the phone…and how they would rather not. (Because apparently we don’t talk about anything interesting.)

And the song “Girlfriend”…This song is about a man demanding that his girlfriend “Lick it up like ice cream.” If you don’t get it, then you probably shouldn’t.

TTC – Girlfriend—no real video, but those are the guys.

This song about fellatio fits in with their other sexually charged songs—“Suce Moi Sale Pute” (Suck Me Dirty Whore) and “Frotte Ton Cui Par Terre” (Rub Your Ass On the Ground).
